The difficult part of getting started is actually determining which paid survey sites are legitimate and honest about what they offer potential survey takers/panelists. 

Avoid the sites that make claims that sound exagerrated about potential earnings..e.g. sites that claim you will make a fortune by taking paid surveys for $150 per hour.  In reality, at the most, you may make a modest income.
